Greening Program partners with BRAC to produce EcoMedia classes cont.

During the fall, students engaged in interactive environmental workshops and multi-media arts projects while observing the Bronx River habitat. The twelve-week semester, funded by Congressman Jose E. Serrano’s WCS-NOAA Lower Bronx River Partnership, helped students translate what they learned in the environmental and media arts workshops into creative projects. From September 18th through December 15th, the classes met weekly in either Phipps CDC’s Drew Gardens or West Farms Technology and Career Center.
