NYC Justice Corps is a unique community service and employment program for young adults aged 18-24 who have been involved with the criminal justice system and need to get back on the right track. The program brings participants together with their communities to identify and address unmet needs, teach them to be contributing members, and to work toward improving their neighborhoods. Through meaningful service to their communities, internships, and job and educational opportunities, NYC Justice Corps members gain practical skills, confidence, and leadership abilities.
The six-month NYC Justice Corps program features:
• Job-readiness skills and training
• Group work and presentations
• Hands-on community service projects
• Two-month paid internships
• Job placement assistance

About Phipps Neighborhoods
Phipps Neighborhoods helps children, youth, and families in low-income communities rise above poverty. We work in South Bronx neighborhoods where we can address the greatest barriers to lasting success through education and career programs, and access to community resources.
We’re dedicated to our neighborhoods for the long term, supporting individuals and families as they establish self-sufficiency. Our services create opportunities for people to thrive in every aspect of their lives.
