Building Services
Program Overview:
- 4-week structured program
- Partnership with Phipps Houses & Hostos Community College

What To Expect:
- Stipend Opportunity: Up to $1,600 in stipends during the program
- On-Site Internship: Get hands-on training at Phipps buildings
- Job Readiness Workshops: Access workshops tailored for building services
- In-Program Certifications: Graduate with seven industry-recognized certifications (OSHA 30, Lead Awareness, Road Flaggers & more)
- Job Placement Opportunities: Discover post-program job placement opportunities within the building services industry

- Bronx resident
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work

Career Network:
Healthcare Track I
Program Overview:
- 10-week structured program (252 Hours)
- Partnership with Montefiore Medical Center & Hostos Community College
- Fast-paced, high-impact healthcare training with clinical experience

- On-Site Internship: With our hospital partners and clinical training opportunities
- In-Program Certifications: Receive CPR and First Aid certification as part of the program
- Post-Program Certification Opportunities: Unlock post-program certification options at Hostos (PCT, CMA, and MAA)
- Job Placement Opportunities: Discover post-program job placement opportunities within the healthcare industry

Healthcare Track II
Program Overview:

Integrated Patient Care Technician (PCT) instruction

What To Expect:
- Paid Work Experience: $18/hr for 150 hours
- Hands-On Experience: Paid clinical work experience integrated with PCT instruction
- In-Program Certifications: Graduate with Patient Care Technician (PCT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy, Basic Life Support (BLS), and EKG
- Job Placement Opportunities: Employment pathways for PCTs and related healthcare roles

- Ages 18–24
- NYC residents
- Out-of-School
- High school diploma or HSE required

Yes! Thanks to our funders and employer partners, all Career Network programs are completely free for participants. We also provide stipends and job placement support.
No prior experience is needed. Our training starts at the beginning and builds toward real-world jobs. All you need is commitment and willingness to show up and learn.
Graduates are placed in roles like Patient Care Technician, Medical Assistant, Community Health Worker, Building Maintenance Tech, Porter, or Handyperson — often with union benefits and advancement opportunities.
