A Place to Learn, Connect and Thrive in the Bronx
We have Beacon and Cornerstone Community Centers across NYCHA campuses and NYC public school buildings in the Bronx. These centers serve as trusted neighborhood anchors, offering academic support, arts and recreation, wellness initiatives, and community events—all free of charge. Programs are designed for youth (ages 5+), adults, and older adults, and run year-round to support families beyond the school day.

Build a Bright Future for your Family
Our Beacon and Cornerstone Centers are more than after-school sites, they are vital spaces where trust, connection, and opportunity grow. Our model is grounded in the belief that strong communities begin with strong relationships, and that free, local access to opportunity should be the norm, not the exception. Each center is staffed by caring professionals, mentors, and teaching artists who reflect the community and bring cultural understanding and trust to every interaction.
