High Quality Pre-K and 3K Programs for Bronx Families

 

Phipps Neighborhoods is proud to offer free, full-day 3K and Pre-K programs for Bronx families.
Our classrooms are warm, welcoming spaces where children learn through play, build confidence, and grow together.  Our dedicated bilingual New York State certified teachers immerse students in a rich, exploratory curriculum combining fun and early development practices.

Applications for Fall 2026 are now Open!
Apply by February 27, 2026

  • Wednesday, January 14, 2026: 3-K & Pre-K applications open
  • Friday, February 27, 2026: 3-K & Pre-K applications close
  • Tuesday, May 12, 2026: Pre-K Offer release
  • Tuesday, May 19, 2026: 3-K offer release

All NYC children born in 2022 can apply for Pre-K and children born in 2023 can apply for 3-K for Fall 2026

There are 3 easy ways to apply by February 27, 2026:

  1. Online with myschools.nyc: Apply online in English, Albanian, Arabic, Bengali/Bangla, Chinese, Haitian Creole, French, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Urdu, or Uzbek.
  2. By phone at 718.935.2009: Interpretation services are available in more than 200 languages for over-the-phone applications.
  3. Visit a Family Welcome Center-learn how at schools.nyc.gov/FWC: An Enrollment Counselor can assist you in submitting an application.

What We Offer

Our early childhood programs are designed to support both children and families. Each day, your child will be cared for by experienced, certified teachers and will engage in hands-on learning through a curriculum infused with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).

Teacher

High quality instructions with New York State Certified teachers.

 

Curriculum

STEAM, play-based learning, and arts.

Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:30am-2:50pm

Extended Hours

Early drop-off and after school available until 6:00pm

Family Support

Help with Kindergarten applications and connection to Phipps services.

Physical Play & Wellness

Daily physical activity, recreation, and games promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and resilience.

Our Locations

Children born in 2022 and 2023 are eligible for our 3K and Pre-K programs.

These programs are free to all NYC families.
